how to train your dragon...

hello kids..

  Today we watched 'How to Train a Dragon' in class. I hope you enjoyed the movie. This is going to be your first comment in this blog. Your comment will be taken into account as class participation.

Hiccup is the main character in the movie. He is a viking but he is different from the rest. He just could not fit in with the environment and the surrounding.  He could not bring himself to kill dragons but instead became friend with a dragon, Toothless. His father, the head of the viking was hoping for Hiccup to be like him.

Question :  Right now you are in a new environment and surrounding. Do you think that you can fit in well with your surrounding especially with new friends? Are you being yourself right now or you are pretending to be something you are not just to fit in?

hello...

   First and foremost I would like to welcome all of you to UiTM Penang. Congratulations to all of you. Your parents and family must be very proud of you. They send all of you with high hopes that you will be a successful person. So please make them proud.

  i would like to take this opportunity as well to share some advice with all of you. i'm not a good at giving advice but i hope you will take one or two of my 'word of wisdom'.so here goes the 'old grandpa' mumbling...

 Now that you are far from the eyes of your parents and free to do what you want, please do have self control. please know what is right to do and what is not. skip classes, coming late class is a big 'NO'. remember that you are here to seek for knowledge. So please wait for the knowledge to be given to you and not the knowledge wait for you to be given. i do hope you understand what i am trying to say here.

Next, please be strong to say 'NO' when it comes to something that can bring bad to you. Now, friends are the most closest and important to you. No doubt they are, but if they ask you to join to do something bad, please say 'NO'. Choose a friend that will lead you to success not a friend that will lead you to trouble and that can jeopardize your future. Think wisely before agreeing to something okay.

Respect. One word that gives a big impact. Please show some respect to all your lecturers, friends and to all the people around you. No matter who they are, show some respect to them. Respect them as a human being who has feelings and emotions. I am a little bit traditionalist. I still think that we are Malay and we are rich with culture. I still think that we should still preserve the culture especially politeness.

Last but no least hehe I hope that all of you are still awake when reading this. My last advice is that please remember why you are here. The main reason is to study. So that will be your number one priority. Please score as high as you can especially in your first semester. The subjects that you are going to learn in your coming semester is going to be harder. so it is very important for you to get good CGPA for the firstssemester.

Well thats all from this 'old grandpa' hehe.

    the final exam is not around the corner anymore but i guess it is not too late for me to wish all of you the best of luck for your final exam. please make sure you study okay. the suffering is just a few weeks, after that you can have all the fun that you want okay.

    so here's my good luck wishes to all of ya...

remember kids, the first semester is very important for you to score ok. make sure you get 3 pointer and above. the subjects that you are going to learn in the next and up coming semester is not going to be easy, so please make sure you score high for the first semester ok...

Dear all,

I have shown you a video which was taken from DOM (Documentary of Makrifah). The video is about 'Namaku Remaja' which is a segment from Halaqah-Sentuhan Kalbu. I do hope that you learn something and gain new perspective in your life. This is the last post that you have to comment.

From the video, we know that 'internal police' is very important. It means that you have to know what is good and what is bad. Now that all of you are away from the eyes of your parents, 'internal police' is the one who is going to control your action. Nowadays we can see that many students like to skip their classes, sms-ing in class, talk while the lecturer is teaching, cheating in exam and many other things. The question is, who to be blame for this? Is it that your parents did not teach you well or is it your own fault?? Why do you think all this happen? Is your 'internal police' working well??

There is another thing that caught my interest which is about the mission and vission. In the talk given, it is said that we have to have a vision and mission for the afterlife (akhirat).  I believe that each one of you have your mission and vision in life. After listening to the talk, what is your mission and vision now?

Please share your thoughts and mind about this issue as it has a very close relation to you as a teenager. hope to hear from all of you soon. please remind your friends to do it.

the last day of class....

hey kids....

     it looks like the day that all of you been waiting for has arrived!!!!! the last day of class and its on Friday. a rainy Friday morning to end the class. i'm sure that all of you just cant wait to end the class right hehe. phew...no more mr.fazrul childish activity, no more colouring, presenting n bla bla bla...hehehe...

  i hope all you keep on reading my blog before your final exam as i will post some tips here okay...oh ya your job to post in my blog has not ended yet as they are a few more post you have to do hehe...

 so you might not see me in class but we will meet in this blog okay....

volcano eruption....

hey guys....

   Japan has been hit by earth quake and being hit by tsunami. i felt so sorry for all the victims...let us pray for them....


  i am so sorry that i scolded some of you last thursday...i did ask all of you to listen and stop talking and playing with your handphone. i did repeat it a few times for you to stop what you are doing and listen  but still being ignored. please remember the rules that i told you during our first class. i already told you that please do not talk when i'm talking and if your friends are presenting. not only in my class but for all the classes that you are attending and the class that you are going to attend in the future. please know that i am serious when i said that. i dont like to get mad or scold people. i have been very patience all this while but my patience has limit as well. please listen first what i have to say so that you know what you have to do. after that you can speak as much as you want. so i hope the volcano wont erupt again and if it erupt again then there is going to be tsunami...huhu. i dont like scolding and get angry as it will make me look older faster huhu...so please follow and remember all the rules ok.

 sorry again for the volcano eruption...
